TD Standing Proud

We’re excited and honoured to present this work for TD, called “Standing Proud”. A campaign conceived and produced by an all-indigenous creative and production leadership team.

The powerful script and creative came from the minds of Indigenous owned agency, Boom Intertribal. @boomintertribal Shout out to the creative team of Alana Lees, Raymond Deleary, and Edward Lees. @alanalees @neegawwnee_oshkawbaywis @edward_lees

The lead talent in this spot is all-Indigenous and features an incredible array of performers and artisans. The original score was created by Juno Award winner Dan General, aka DJ Shub (formerly from A Tribe Called Red) @djshub

English voice-over was done by Elder Louis Lapatak from Saddle Lake Cree Nation, a former student of the residential school system. French voice-over came from Pakesso Mukash, Cree/Abenaki from Whapmagoostui, QC.

Inuit throat singers are Juno nominated Silla And Rise #sillaandrise
Mural artist is Emily Kewageshig @emilykewageshig
Metis sash weaver is Matt Hiltermann @thesashmaker

It is also the culmination of Nimble Content Executive Producer Michael Corbiere’s two-year quest to find a project for an Indigenous director in the commercial world. When Michael received the script, he knew it was perfect for storyteller and director Jon Elliott @jon.b.elliott Jon now proudly sits on the Nimble Content director roster. Canada is learning of its Indigenous voices, and is on the path to Truth and Reconciliation. Let’s Gooo!!
